We are seeking a skilled Windows Desktop Engineer on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows desktop management, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Servicenow. This role will involve deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Windows desktops and related technologies to ensure optimal performance and security. The successful candidate will also provide technical support to end-users and collaborate with various teams to implement and maintain IT solutions. Key Responsibilities: Windows Desktop Management: -Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows desktop environments. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems and applications. -Ensure desktops are secure and compliant with company policies and industry standards. Intune and Azure Administration: -Manage and configure Microsoft Intune for device management and application deployment. -Utilize Azure AD for identity and access management. -Implement and manage Azure-based solutions to support the desktop environment. ServiceNow Reporting and Incident/Request Management: -Utilize ServiceNow for incident and request management, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation. -Generate and analyze ServiceNow reports to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement. -Collaborate with other IT teams to improve service delivery and support processes. Technical Support: -Provide second and third-level support for desktop-related issues. -Assist in the resolution of complex technical problems. -Support end-users with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
