EB Brazil Technical Mechanical
Responsibilities
Receive and inspect mechanical seals and accessories for repair as per the invoice.
Perform repairs, disassembly, evaluation, and record necessary parts, along with preparing technical reports with photos and recommendations.
Provide technical support to the sales team and external customers, proposing appropriate solutions.
Offer field technical assistance, checking the operation and making repairs as needed.
Monitor and guide customers in the field to improve equipment MTBF.
Conduct external Expansion Joint services and lead teams in the field.
Prepare shutdown schedules and support the Expansion Joint manufacturing team when requested.
Qualifications
Has skills developed through formal training or work experience.
Technician in Mechanical Maintenance or related areas, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related areas.
Basic Excel and other Office package applications.
Basic English (desirable).
Knowledge of rotating equipment, such as centrifugal pumps, basic agitators and basic mixers.
Knowledge of expansion joints desirable.
Willingness to travel for periods abroad, including extended stays at customers outside the Valinhos headquarters.
