Responsibility: Collaborate with the Project Management Team to establish and implement an EHS strategy, budget, guidelines, and KPIs tailored to each phase of the project lifecycle. Oversee EHS management to ensure compliance and safety from project construction through commissioning. Identify potential environmental, health, and safety risks, including occupational hazards, workplace incidents, and environmental impacts. Design and implement effective measures to minimize these risks, focusing on sustainable practices specific to renewable energy projects. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety evaluations, ensuring all activities comply with EHS standards. Maintain comprehensive EHS records and address improvement areas, supporting internal and external audits as required by clients and regulatory bodies. Act as the primary point of contact for local communities, addressing their concerns effectively. Coordinate and lead meetings with project stakeholders—such as EPC contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors—to promote EHS awareness. Organize and conduct EHS training programs for team members and external partners to foster a strong safety culture. Develop and enforce EHS policies and regulations, ensuring the safety of all personnel on-site. Collaborate with the regional EHS team to share best practices, continuously improving EHS standards and promoting sustainable, safe work environments in renewable energy projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or above with local/international HSE certification; 5 years relevant working experiences, ideally in energy, infrastructure, construction sectors; Knowledgeable with International and local HSE systems and standards (such as ISO 14001 and 45001); Previous experiences with local and international regulatory bodies; A self-motivated learner with high aspiration and discipline.
