**Role & Responsibilities**:
The ERLR Head must foster a culture of collaboration and rigorous adherence to standards, process excellence, and continuous improvement.
They must also ensure a high level of partnership with other HR functions as well as business leaders and provide consistent governance.
They represent the Company at the regional/country/cluster of countries level regarding all external ER or LR stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Approximately 35% of the role will be devoted to the following responsibilities**:
- Manage country/cluster of countries/regional operational activities to achieve target key performance indicators, operational level agreements, and service levels by executing resource planning to ensure the availability of staff and support.
- Manage the operational plans to increase the effectiveness of services while improving the customer experience and ensure a consistent approach at the country/cluster of countries/regional level for Employee Relations and Labor Relations.
This includes:
- Ensuring timely and compliant handling of all ER-related cases including grievance and discipline requests
- Supervising the implementation of coaching and training initiatives of managers and employees while participating in these initiatives
- Supporting the management of grievance and discipline requests, due to their particular sensitivity and/or requiring higher level knowledge and authority and/or interaction with third Parties
- Driving direct interventions with managers and employees on highly sensitive cases and/or escalations
- Defining the labor relations strategy both at the country/cluster of countries/region and legal entities level with input from the team, business senior management, and HR Business Partners
- Supervising the preparation and negotiation of all collective bargaining agreements within agreed parameters and participating in negotiation if appropriate
- Conducting business impact assessments along with the team
- Labor relations consulting and assisting with major workforce events (M&A, Divestitures, Restructuring, Reduction in Force, etc.)

- Participating in employee representatives' meetings if appropriate
- The role will also include Performance Management:
- Supervising the implementation of coaching & training initiatives of managers on managing low-performance issues, as well as participating in these initiatives
- Participating in effective implementation of all business and/or HR projects, both at a country and region level
- The role will also notify the relevant Center of Excellence Global Policies team of regulatory changes and ensure workplace policies are current and in compliance with applicable local laws
**Approximately 35% of the role will be devoted to the following responsibilities**:
- Providing professional guidance to teams within the region
- Effectively integrating new support requirements into the region as they are introduced by HR special projects and initiatives
- Participating as a member of the Regional HR Council and contributing to the achievement of the strategy at the regional level
- Managing and motivating team members to achieve and exceed service standards by identifying staff performance gaps, allocating time to listen, monitoring, and providing constructive feedback for performance improvement
