This system is designed to provide VTEX shoppers with seamless, secure, and fast payment processing, enabling them to complete transactions with ease and confidence. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for executing and refining the roadmap strategy, ensuring it aligns with the evolving needs of our shoppers. You will lead a talented team of 5-6 developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to deliver a best-in-class developer portal.ABOUT THE TEAMThe Payments Orchestrator team is dedicated to building, evolving, and maintaining the transactional flow. Modernizing the Payments Gateway is central to this mission, driven by the need to enhance scalability, security, and user experience in order to meet the evolving demands of our customers and the rapidly changing market landscape. We are a dynamic and innovative team, committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.WHO YOU AREBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.1-2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development.Ability to refine product strategy and execute effectively.Excellent leadership and people management skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Strong experience using agile methodologies.
