In the role of Finance Director, you will hold a crucial position as the main liaison for the LATAM Finance Director, local Managing Director, and HQ controlling team. Your key responsibilities will involve overseeing various financial aspects of Brazilian finance. This includes managing taxes, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, FP&A, media finance, and corporate reporting, among other vital functions. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth financial operations and driving strategic decision-making within the organization.As the Finance Director, your main focus will be on building and developing a high-performance team, while fostering productivity that aligns with the company's purpose. Your role will be instrumental in nurturing a culture of achievement and driving the team's performance to new heights.In this role you will:Manage and cultivate business and client relationships.Support the local business team, realigning and troubleshooting when necessary.Ensure that the P&L is delivered according to the expectations for budget, timing, and quality.Be responsible for the full Planning & Control cycle including monthly closings, quarterly rolling forecasts, annual budgets and strategic plans, cash flow.Ensure compliance with appropriate controls and IFRS.Act as the main contact person for internal and external audits.Drive execution to implement and maintain strong business operations locally.Manage and liaise with various stakeholders, such as the FP&A Team, local MDs, Finance and Tax Team of the Parent company (S4).Ensure all reporting is compliant with statutory requirements and tax regulations.Contribute to further documenting and improving processes as well as building a future-proof finance and reporting structure.Inspire and cultivate team members, mentoring/coaching and strengthening their capabilities and knowledge set.Play a role in implementing new ERP/Finance systems.Be responsible for media finance operations including: support and implement the media finance process in the agency - BV, Media purchases, PI, POs, Advance Payments, and Sponsorships among other processes.Oversee Facilities Management.Experience you already have:Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Having a Master's degree or an MBA would further enhance your qualifications.Professional Experience: You bring over 10 years of work experience to the table. Your background includes working with holding companies and/or large independent agencies in Brazil, which is an advantage. Additionally, experience with Big 4 firms or similar organizations adds to your expertise.Operational Expertise: You have a robust background in operations management, showcasing your ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Media Finance Knowledge: Your experience in media finance, coupled with a strong understanding of media operations and financial systems, is highly beneficial.Global Perspective: You possess a solid global outlook, enabling you to navigate international markets and understand diverse business environments.Collaborative Experience: You have worked in collaborative, diverse, and multicultural organizations, which has enriched your ability to adapt and thrive in various settings.Leadership Skills: You have a proven track record of successfully managing businesses and leading teams effectively, demonstrating your capability to drive results.Project Involvement: Your involvement in global products, projects, or programs highlights your ability to manage complex initiatives on an international scale.Cultural Insight: You have a strong understanding of cultural dynamics and possess thorough knowledge of market changes that influence both the agency and its clients.Communication Skills: As a strong communicator, you articulate ideas clearly and succinctly, using a structured approach to convey messages effectively.Language Proficiency: Advanced English (Proven TOEFL over 90/120 is a plus).
