We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join Zubale as the Manager of Finance Brazil . This key leadership role will be integral to the success of our organization, requiring a candidate with a strong finance background, strategic acumen, and excellent accounting and communication skills. As the Manager of Finance Brazil, you will serve as the right hand to the General Manager, playing a crucial role in providing timely financial information and insights to drive strategic decision-making and ensure the achievement of our business goals. Responsibilities 1. Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the overall business objectives. Collaborate with the Brazil executive team to create budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Plan and control the cash flow with all the details related to inflows and outflows. 2. Accounting and Reporting: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare and present timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Understand and review the monthly VAT report and payment as Corporate Income Tax and other municipalities taxes. 3. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance and resource allocation. 4. Business Partnership: Work closely with the general manager to understand business needs and contribute to strategic decision-making. Act as a financial advisor, providing guidance on financial implications of various business initiatives. 5. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard the financial health of the organization. Manage the relationship with the accounting outsourcing to provide quality information and implement best practices according to Fiscal Advisory. Requirements 1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master or specialization in Finance or MBA. Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a staffing agency or gig worker platform of 5 years. 2. Skills and Abilities: Team management and team development proven experience. Attention to detail and focus on quality. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills. Demonstrated experience supporting customer teams to drive financial performance Exceptional financial modeling and forecasting abilities. Excellent understanding of accounting and taxes principles and practices in Brazil. Excellent communication skills. Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Proven leadership experience with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. English and Portuguese fluency is required; Spanish nice to have. Nice to have: CPA certification.
