The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process aims to transform business decision-making that will result in profitable and sustainable growth balancing strategic, financial, and operational objectives.
It is a cross-functional, rolling planning process integrating product, marketing, sales, supply chain, partner, and financial plans into one aligned plan for the business through a global standard.
This single set of numbers will leverage next-generation orchestration and analytic technology coupled with data and digital savvy PepsiCo talent, and in most markets an enabling decision-support tool, ensuring agile and fast decision-making to take us to the next level above the competition.
IBP goes beyond supply & demand matching; it is a leap forward for the business, enabling faster, more coordinated, and more informed decision-making with increased visibility from supplier to customer.
It is action-oriented and focused on the business across weekly Sales & Operations Execution (iS&OE), Period Sales & Operations Planning (iS&OP), and Yearly Strategic Planning.
The Global IBP Digitalization role clearly sets the vision and direction for how technology should be deployed & applied to the IBP process to ensure the characteristics described above are at the core of the process.
The role ensures that Digital capabilities (Data Ecosystem, Technology stack, Analytics Suite, Technical sustain, etc.)
are configured to meet Business leaders/decision-makers' ever-evolving needs.
Further, the Role Holder will be required to ensure that IBP Digital Core Capabilities are standardized across regions and focused on maximizing value to the business

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accelerate IBP Digital capability to enable World Class IBP to drive Business Performance
Work closely with business leaders and end users to ensure value add capabilities of IBP Automation, Centralization, Analytics & Augmentation are effectively deployed & utilized by the IBP community
Operate in a fast-moving, undefined, and highly ambiguous environment
Navigate a Complex Global cross-functional Business Environment
Influence across extensive global and regional cross-functional and matrixed leadership landscape
Collaborate with a diverse community of Technology providers to achieve a common goal (IT, Global Transformation, Consultants, CoE SMEs, etc.)
Coordinate efforts across the global planning digitalization program
Work closely with stakeholders across relevant global programs such as PepsiCo Global
Connect IBP business requirements with technological solutions by standardizing the Integrated Planning process for PepsiCo
Align digital processes with Business decision flows and are in sync with business needs (uniqueto each market and sector)
Leverage data, technology & analytics to connect value levers and decision-makers from Managers up to Executive VP level.
Leverage internal/external networks to effectively deploy data, technology, and analytics to enable E2E near real-time visibility, automation, and advanced analytics for the IBP process across all regions
Configure Data, Technology, and Analytics to meet the different needs of the IBP process segments, iS&OE, iS&OP, and Strategic Planning and drive the planning centralization agenda
Ensure that Decision Flow Design Principles and value realization are at the heart of the Digital deployment and that the problems to solve are clearly articulated Digitalization services decision-making requirements,
Partner with Learning & Development team to formalize IBP Digital Skills in Planning and CoE communities
Ensure E2E planning processes effectively connects with other core business transformation initiatives, e.g.
PGT, Commercial Big Data/Analytics, GBS, etc, and that Design is integrated with the existing ecosystem
Drive Value Realization by ensuring that Process Digitalization brings unique new capabilities
Collaborate with Global IBP Process and Design team, as well as Data&Analytics and Digital Product team to identify and address gaps between design & destination ecosystem, and develops/implement solutions
Validate & Challenge Operational applicability
Partner with Functional SMEs to ensure integrated E2E Digital processes, resolve process/system conflicts

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Director/Snr Director/VP/ Head with 10+ years supply chain experience preferably within CPG, Pharma, Tech industry, showing excellent thinking/problem-solving skills, able to make sense of complex organizational challenges, develop creative solutions, and implement them
Degree /MBA in relevant discipline
Proven track record of driving business performance by implementing advanced technology & analytics.
Deep understanding of the cross-functional digital landscape and extensive experience with complex transformational agendas
Proven experience (8+ years) of bridging complex business processes and technology preferably at the global scale.
Specifically, the capability to define a business need and then leverage technology to solve the need in a way that transforms efficiency and Customer Impact
Extensive experience in core business processes (e.g.
integrated Supply Chain Planning, iS&OP, etc.
), regarded as a Subject Matter Expert preferably in large FMCG, Pharma, Manufacturing, Technology
Demonstrated track record of leading people and building teams - setting performance standards, coaching, and developing capability
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and sustain a vast range of working relationships across multiple functions, cultures, and the ability to flex styles for effective influencing with senior leadership and stakeholders
Strategic acumen to develop approaches that address short, medium
- and long-term business objectives in a fast-paced environment
Good English speaker
