As a Plant Manager at our brand new combined cycle thermal power plant, you'll coordinate daily operations to ensure optimal power output, efficiency, and environmental compliance. You'll manage key metrics such as power output, heat rate, and fuel consumption, while maintaining high availability and reliability standards. **How You'll Make an Impact**
- The position leads the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams at the project site, lead the interface to the customer and holds overall site responsibilities: management of the people and the entire power plant under O&M scope.
- The main activities are related to day-to-day planning of activities, coordination of resources, organization of the site, control and management of operations, maintenances, and administration of the site.
- Responsible for developing and retaining a skilled workforce with the goal of ensuring customer happiness.
- Manage the entire team of the power plant (responsible for operations, maintenance, and site support activities), engaging, retaining, and developing competences aiming to obtain the best results in accordance with Siemens-Energy guidelines.
- Ensure that the power plant is operated in accordance with the contracts and operational procedures defined by the customers, partners, and team members. Coordinate and ensure that the maintenance plans are fulfilled (identify the needs, document & report all inspections, plan & execute accordingly, and communicate/ report through the maintenance management system).
- Create and maintain a good relationship with the customers and other interested parties, as well as giving support to the relations between the parties.
- The Plant Manager will coordinate the daily site activities in alignment with Owner's representatives under the project guidelines and agreements such as fuel supply, power dispatch directives (ONS) and operating permits, as applicable.
- The Plant Manager will also help Owner's representatives in the coordination of jointly site initiatives and representing SE during official visits and audits.
**What You Bring**
- Bachelor of Engineering, preferably with a pos-graduate degree;
- Project Management experience is mandatory (certification is not required);
- Experience in operations or maintenance of combined cycle thermal power plants and in management positions;
- Experience on the main equipment of combined cycle Power Plants (gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, control systems/ DCS, instrumentation, water treatment system, etc.);
- Proficient in English and Portuguese.
