Hardware at TRACTIAN The Hardware team is responsible for designing and improving our IoT devices, dealing with every step of the development process, ranging from PCB design, firmware programming, case design, validations and certifications, always aiming to build trustworthy products that can be produced at a mass scale. What you'll do As a Hardware Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, testing, and optimizing the performance of our IoT sensor hardware. You will work closely with our engineering and product development teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. Your expertise will be vital in identifying areas for improvement, troubleshooting hardware issues, and maximizing the effectiveness of our IoT sensor technology. ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute testing protocols and procedures to assess the reliability, durability, and efficiency of IoT sensor hardware under various conditions and environments.Assembly of Products and Tests Jigs PCB.Debugging and troubleshooting of Hardware PCBs, using oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, and other electronic equipment.3D modeling and prototyping using additive manufacturing.Component Inventory management and organization.RequirementsEnrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Basic knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and schematic design.Understanding of electrical technical documents such as components datasheet, schematics and PCB Gerbers.Basic knowledge of 3D modeling tools, such as Solid Works and Fusion 360.Basic knowledge of electronics design tools, such as Altium Designer and KiCAD.Live or have availability to move to Sao Paulo.Bonus PointsTechnician in Electronics, Mechatronics or other related areas.Scripting languages such as Python.Experience with other low-level programming languages.Intermediary English proficiency.Involvement in open-source hardware projects or community electronics groups.COMPENSATION• Competitive salary and stock options• Optional fully funded English / Spanish courses• 30 days of paid annual leave• Education and courses stipend• Earn a trip anywhere in the world every 4 years• Day off during the week of your birthday• R$200 a month for remote work allowance• Mental health support: we cover 40% of the cost of your therapy• Health plan with national coverage and without coparticipation• Dental Insurance: we help you with dental treatment for a better quality of life.• Up to R$5.000 bonus for referring new Blue CapsIf you want to build a ship, don't organize people to collect wood, assign them tasks, and give orders.
