Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for aligning business objectives with HR strategy, overseeing all activities as it relates to thyssenkrupp Human Resources.
This position is responsible for executing all aspects of HR for multiple sites, including employee relations, investigations, performance management, compensation, and policy enforcement.
The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition.
Job Description
We are hiring an HR Business Partner to support our new warehouse in Santa Teresa, NM and an existing warehouse in Kennesaw, GA. Salary 80-85K to start plus bonus potential.
This is a fully onsite role, requiring full time presence at the worksite.
Remote work is not available for this position.
You will need to travel between locations as needed.
Key Accountabilities:
Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and applicable policies
Designs and leverages integrated people strategies based on a holistic understanding of a diverse workforce; enabling attraction, development, and retention of top talent; lead HR activities related to business growth/changes/moves
Conducts periodic meetings with respective business leaders to understand financials and important business updates; provides employee-related KPIs and strategy updates
Partners with business leaders for policy training, compliance, and implementation of new policies, ensuring objectives are met
Manages and resolves employee relations issues; conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations; works in conjunction with Employee Relations Specialists
Partners with business leaders on compensation related discussions for their respective teams
Ensures thyssenkrupp's DEI priority is a key area of focus for the business
Ensures compliance with the safety focus of thyssenkrupp
Partners with the recruiting team to ensure a positive new hire experience
Ensures proper onboarding/offboarding of employees
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
Partners with business leaders on performance management processes and employee development plans (ex., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions (CAPs & PIPs)
Works closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention

Minimum Requirements:
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in Human Resources
Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
Experience creating and implementing HR Policies and Procedures
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines (compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, and performance management)
Ability to solve complex problems
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills
Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization
Ability to travel up to 25% to various thyssenkrupp locations throughout the US and Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience managing HR direct reports is a plus
Previous SAP experience is a plus
Previous experience with compensation systems is a plus
SHRM-CP or SCP, or PHR of SPHR strongly preferred
