Here we are home to professionals who carry this entrepreneurial spirit, who know how to transform ideas into real business opportunities, and who are engaged in the development and perpetuation of the Partnership.This position will be based in our Office in São Paulo in a full on-site working model.About the role:The head of Architecture & Infrastructure brings experience, knowledge, and future vision for transforming the management of Architecture & Cloud function including its strategy, operating model, product, and service offerings.This role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy and is responsible for ensuring Architecture & Cloud principles & strategy globally.As a key member of the senior IT leadership team, he is responsible for on premises and cloud infrastructures, licensing, middleware, API, Finops, service contract managements, and orchestration / monitoring strategy.Main Responsibilities:Sets the mission, vision, and strategy of the Cloud & Architecture organization to maximize the success of business in collaboration with his IT peers.Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives using modern and innovative architecture based on APIs, microservices, events driven platform, etc.Accountable for Architecture & Cloud Operation throughout the organization for the design and delivery of the strategy of all IT architecture & cloud to enable business capabilities and services across the enterprise and its countries.Develops and controls the annual Cloud & Architecture budget to ensure that it's consistent with the overall strategic objectives of IT (including technical debt remediation), creating a culture of continuous cost optimization.Develops the maturity to improve efficiency, deliver new innovations and increase collaboration with other ITpeers and business areas (e.g., through Agile, DevSecOps, DataSecOps platform, and product approaches).Collaborates with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure security strategy aligned with SOX, SEC, GDPR rules and its periodical controls to avoid and mitigate risks. Improves IT resilience by executing strategies that improve reliability, tolerability, and disaster recovery readiness.Introduces innovative, differentiating infrastructure and operations capabilities that enhance our overall competitive capabilities and enhance employee productivity architecture (infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, AI, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics)Ensures the EA organizational design process leads to a more efficient and effective business and IT operating model, significantly improved results (in terms of profitability, customer service, internal operations), and EA resources who are empowered and committed to the integration of business and IT.Requirements:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experienceFive or more years of experience in IT or business/industry, three or more years of leadership responsibilities, including strategy, budgeting, and staffing.English is mandatory.Finance experience, Spanish and SOX controls are appreciated but not mandatory.Required Knowledge and SkillUnderstanding of cloud service providers like Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and AWS. Knowledge of cloud-native technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.Hands-on expertise of business ecosystems, software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, AI, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.Good communication skills with the ability to build consensus but also the ability make decisions based on many variables with strategic thinking.Evangelizing and implementing transformational initiatives where the target state included some of design principles such (not exhaustive): Public Cloud First, SaaS out-of-the-box tools instead bespoken development, leverage outsourcing relationship wherever scale could be achieved, forbidden point-to-point application integration (mandatory data service bus for any integration), security and data privacy are not negotiable, agility and automation flows thought DevSecOps / DataOps whenever is possible.Understanding of the different types of agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at enterprise level.Balances the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions and organization goals.Work Environment:It isn't just the performance that matters.
