In this role you will provide guidance, advice, and oversight for legal as well as business decisions and contract negotiations.

You will report directly to the Head of Legal in LATAM.

**Who You Are**
- You excel in drafting, structuring, review and legal analysis of wide range of contracts (Project and framework agreements with our Merchants, SLAs, NDAs, intercompany agreements, outsourcing agreements, lease agreements, etc) with customers (merchants and financial institutions), payment schemes, payment industry partners, suppliers in relation to payment services, IT services, regulated fintech services, etc.
- Provide legal support and advice to all internal divisions for all legal topics with focus on payment related legal matters (senior management, finance, business, operations, risk and compliance, IT, audit, etc) and support with regard to Merchant Services Worldline Group M&A projects
- Liaising and coordination with external stakeholders (external lawyers, external auditors, regulators in specific cases and for interpretation of legal and regulatory requirements) and with legal and cross functional colleagues throughout the Worldline group.
- Maintain intra-group litigation report and consumer claims in Brazil
- Legal research and interpretation of Brazil and other Latin America laws and regulations
- Follow up and updates of delegation of authorities and signatory powers
- Focus on the protection and defense of WL the legal entities in Latin America and the Worldline group's interests
**You Have**
- Law degree.
- A minimum of 4 years working experience at a Law firm or as an (inhouse) Legal Counsel.
- Business oriented, bearing in mind the bigger picture.
Capacity to search for answers and solve problems, capacity to focus on the final objective.
- Very good communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills and relationship management.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks.
- Able to work under time pressure and dynamic environment.
- Hands on attitude.
- Strong team player with high self motivation and positive attitude.
- Perfect fluency (oral and written) in English.
Spanish language will be highly appreciated.
- Knowledge in payment industry and payment services is nice to have.
