LATAM Infrastructure and Mobility Proposal SpecialistPosting Date: 19 Aug 2024Location: São Paulo, BR / Rio de Janeiro, BRContract Type: PermanentDivision: International Infrastructure & MobilityLevel of experience: IntermediateRINA is currently recruiting for a LATAM Infrastructure and Mobility Proposal Specialist to join its office in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.MissionThe Proposal Manager focuses on coordinating and supervising all activities related to proposal compilation. This role involves overseeing the proposal development process from initiation to delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards and policies.Job ResponsibilitiesWork closely and flexibly with the BU head, proposal Engineers, operational and business development staff to develop and/or advise on the production of documents in response to tender invitations.Lead and support on contracts, tenders, and quotations by taking a proactive role in negotiating and securing major contracts. Provide support in preparing tenders and quotations.Update Pipeline with new prospects.Identify and re-work existing pre-written content in line with specific questions, tailoring to individual client requirements.Coordinate and liaise with external (client, JV partners, sub-contractors, vendors) and internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, sales, operational, commercial, legal, HR, and finance staff.Convert knowledge from operational and business development staff into winning solutions and proposals.Gather market and competitor information that will be useful to WSP in future propositions and bids.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering. MBA in a relevant field would be a plus.Fluent English is mandatory; Spanish knowledge is a plus.Extensive experience in preparing tenders/contract management and project management of important engineering structures such as bridges/tunnels from domestic and international vendors.Technical knowledge and proven track record of at least 5 years in business development of infrastructure projects, especially with a focus on Rail, Metro, Ports, Logistics, TOD, and similar projects with Government and Private sectors.Experience of all phases of rail-based urban transportation projects on an international bidding contract basis (FIDIC contracts), i.e., planning, preparing bid documents, bidding, post-bid management, and contract signing.Experience and knowledge of complying with project-related requirements of international funding institutions.At RINA, we endeavor to create a work environment where every single person is valued and encouraged to develop new ideas.
