The Legal Manager is an individual who assists the General Manager in all legal and compliance aspects of the Inswitch legal entities. They prepare and review contracts and other legal documents and assist the General Counsel with compliance matters.Below is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities.A Legal Manager will be responsible for:Assist the CEO in:corporate governance matters;drafting and managing contracts;overseeing litigation matters;legal employment-related matters;overseeing the management of the organization's intellectual property portfolio;Managing the legal aspects of the company's entity structure, including compiling and controlling corporate records, ownership structures, and other pertinent documentation.Maintain systems and repositories for the company's legal documents and operations and record-keeping of all legal proceedings.Assist other members of the organization in ensuring the filing of appropriate licensure documents and other statutory requirements.Assist other members of the organization in legal and compliance due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.Experience, Requirements, and Qualifications:Law degree from an accredited law school in any country where Inswitch has subsidiaries.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a strong background in legal; compliance management is preferred.Demonstrated experience in communicating legal advice to senior legal staff.Familiarity with regulatory bodies and requirements.Experience in negotiating contracts and transactions.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong legal acumen; ability to assess the impact of legal and compliance issues and decisions on the organization.Overall broad legal knowledge.Ability to anticipate legal and compliance issues.Superior judgment and analytical abilities, even when facing ambiguity; ability to weigh data and arguments to formulate solutions.High degree of professional ethics.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Interpersonal and communication skills; capable of building relationships internally and externally and effectively resolving conflict.Experience with corporate governance and corporate secretarial duties.Fintech enthusiast.Full Proficiency in English (near-native).Communication: The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other members of the organization and third parties.Flexibility: It's important to remain adaptable and flexible during a crisis.
