LifeScience Business Analyst The LifeScience Business Analyst will be responsible for working with different departments within one of the largest LifeScience and Animal Science companies in the world to develop and document requirements for data and reporting needs. Roles and Responsibilities: Identify and translate data, reporting and analytics needs into clearly defined requirements Develop data and reporting requirements documentation in line with SDLC framework including business requirements document, report mock-ups, data mapping and test plans Use SQL and or any other reporting and analytics tools, to augment analytical thinking when analyzing data and processes, and identifying and solving problems. Reason logically, drawing valid conclusions and developing effective solutions. Apply creative thinking in the design of effective and efficient methods for processing data Support system testing and user acceptance testing phases of small and large-scale data and reporting projects Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide subject matter expertise and to assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues Required Technical Qualifications: Senior Experience as an IT Business Analyst in LifeScience / Animal Science Industry Hands-on experience with defining and documenting data and reporting requirements is required Hands-on experience with PowerBI or similar product Proven track record of creating clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business needs and data requirements Experience operating and interfacing with business management, including negotiation and presentation skills Experienced with Agile, SDLC and business analysis methodologies; working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards
