The Manager of Regional Distribution and Logistics is responsible for defining and executing the distribution strategy across Latam Region for BRP Units and PA&A (Parts Accessories and Apparel).
S/he will be working closely with multiple stakeholders, internal customers, external providers and regional managers. S/he oversees the developing and delivering operational excellence to our customers across the region in line with the Supply Chain strategy.
**YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Manage Logistics team in Brazil and Mexico, distribution of tasks and follow up, manage backup plan, job rotations and holidays;
Improve and deliver on our customer service promise in line with BRP brand positioning in an evolving and competitive landscape;
Ensure the logistics execution is aligned with sales objectives;
Ensure a service level provided to the network is solid and on-time;
Manage contracts with services 3PL providers for transport and warehouse;
Ground, Air and Ocean freights negotiation for International and National markets, ensuring partners are tracked on performance;
Monitor 3PL performance through KPIs analysis against contractual requirements and make proper adjustments where required in a cost-plus model;
Optimize regional warehouse and yard footprint;
Coordination of Inventory Cycle Count and analysis of evolution and results;
Ensure all tools are updated and providing accurate information for quality analysis (PowerBI, Microsoft Access);
Manage the budget/forecasts process for LATAM and implement cost mitigation strategies when needed of all distribution and logistics aspects including warehouse, freight in and out budget;
Give full support to finance reporting numbers and discrepancies;
Lead projects for continuous improvement as system implementation and leverage potential saving opportunities across the region;
Act as a link among global initiatives with local implementation;
Relationship with Government Customs and correlative institutions (MAPA / Federal Revenue);
Actively play the role of Business Leader in the ISO9001 certification.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelors in business administration, Logistic & Distribution, MBA or Engineering;
Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics and distribution management in similar industries (automotive, consumer goods, service parts, etc.): high number of SKUs and lines output, multicustomer channels, global footprint;
Ability to lead significant supply chain optimization projects and associated system implementation;
Strong experience working in a third-party logistic model worldwide;
Good knowledge of SAP environment and any other well-known supply chain operations systems
Fluent in English. Spanish will be an asset but not a limitation;
Ability to manage international teams across multiple times zones;
Viewed as a strong & passionate leader with a focus on people, organizational development, relationship building and change management;
Organized and analytical, focused on process improvement and maximizing systems capabilities;
Recognized ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions in a matrix organization with various stakeholders.
