Background Pepsi Lipton is a Joint Venture between Unilever and PepsiCo to manufacture and sell six Ice Tea branded products across the globe:
Lipton, Pure Leaf, Brisk, Yachak, T2 and Tazo.
As a company in its own right, the joint venture has its own board of directors.

Main Purpose

The role of the LATAM Marketing Manager is to support the Lipton Marketing director crafting the brand strategy for the next 5 years, defining Liptons role within the broader Pepsico Portfolio, translated into a clear to execute innovation and communication roadmap for all LatAm markets.
Country Scope:
Guatemala, Honduras, Honduras SULA, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Panam, Costa Rica, Chile, and Brazil.
Accountabilities

The role works across many key senior stakeholder groups and will play an important role in bringing next generation innovations to the JV business.
Specific activities include:
Strong Business Accumen:
Define Liptons role within Pepsicos & Bottlers portfolio with a clear short & long term strategy to assure growth for the next 5 years, downloaded into:
Deliver Winning innovations:
defining key whitespaces were Lipton is able to play.
Develop a strategy for the core, green & innovations to drive growth through penetration.
Deliver Occasion strategy:
define along with CMI / Insights team, occasions were Lipton has a higher right to succeed vs other beverages.
Deliver winning communications adapted from global, adapted through local insights.
Partnering and facilitator skills to deliver targets:
Work closely with our bottlers to guarantee the right execution and promotion of our brands in the marketplace
Partner closely with cross functional teams, global team, and local teams (bottlers) to develop positioning, product profile, packaging profile, graphics, full marketing mix and business cases.
Consumer Centric Approach:
Integrate a consumer centric approach into our everyday work
Lead the development and execution of specific digital activations for LATAM markets
Budget management for A&M for Marketing and CAM markets

Person Profile

Key Competencies

Strong influencing and people management skills specially dealing with bottlers and uncertainty
Strategic thinker, with business acumen and ability to partner with senior level executives.
Proven track record of delivering consumer insight-based marketing initiatives
Strategic influencing up, down, and across organizations with high level of EQ to influence and manage diverse groups of people from two distinctive corporate cultures
Entrepreneurial Drive
Project Management
Strong leadership skills to deal with multiple agencies
Strong influencing and people management skills - ability to engage/motivate colleagues and stakeholders behind a project even if working remotely or belong to another company
Work Experience:
had a managerial role previously showcasing key competencies and accountabilities
