Patent Project Manager (Estimates Team) LegalSight is an exciting legal services firm at the crossroads of global innovation. We are looking to expand our team which supports the international patent filing needs of clients around the globe. This team specializes in products, software, and services to assist with patent and trademark application processes, including filing, renewals, and translations. As a Patent Project Manager on our Estimates Team, you will be collaborating with and supporting our team which focuses on the prosecution, validation, and renewals phases of patent applications. You would be responsible for managing patent filing and legal translations projects as well as the cost analysis and invoicing of our filing and translations services. This is a full-time, fully remote position, working with an international remote team. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm Eastern Standard Time. (As we are a U.S.-based company, working hours will be adjusted during daylight savings time.) Fluency in spoken and written English is required for this role as you would be collaborating with and supporting team members and clients internationally. In this role, you will be responsible for: Analyzing translation and filing requests. Preparing accurate estimates for clients based on country-specific requirements. Liaising between client and project management team to ensure project scope is clearly understood. Utilizing MT Engine and TM System to prepare projects for assignment to linguists. Essential skills and experience required: At least 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting. Strong analytical and organizational abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines. Strong teamwork skills. Significant experience managing complex patent filing and validation projects. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Process-oriented. Successful track record of successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines.
