Payroll Officer

Duties and ResponsibilitiesVerify timekeeping records and consult employees about any discrepanciesRecord payroll data in our software system and verify all amounts prior to cutting checksAlter employee tax status as needed as well as any information about withholdingPrepare manual checks for distribution to employeesInitiate direct depositsChange employee banking records when necessary to process payments accuratelyRecord employee complaints, questions, and concerns about payroll services and communicate those issues to HR managerMaintain compliant policies and procedures for processing payroll checksEnter new employees' data (e.g., bank accounts and tax identification numbers) into internal databasesAnswer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes, and insurance deductionsQualificationsProven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk, or similar roleHands-on experience with HRIS and accounting softwareStrong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errorsGood knowledge of labor legislationTime-management skillsAbility to handle confidential informationBSc in Accounting, Human Resources, or relevant fieldJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From Php20,000.00 per monthBenefits:Flexible scheduleFlextimeOpportunities for promotionPay raisePromotion to permanent employeeSchedule:8 hour shiftAfternoon shiftDay shiftEvening shiftMonday to FridayShift systemSupplemental Pay:13th month salaryAnniversary bonusBonus payPerformance bonus#J-18808-Ljbffr
