Position Summary: The Product Manager will oversee all aspects of assigned products, acting as the primary business leader and subject matter expert. This role involves technical product understanding, organizing input from stakeholders, analyzing market trends, developing strategic product roadmaps, and providing leadership in Agile development. Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, supporting sales, guiding product vision, and maintaining customer relationships to ensure products exceed market expectations and align with customer needs. This position is more of a technical role versus sales or account management. Responsibilities: Market & Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the market, technology, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Lead strategic roadmap creation, updates, and product differentiation. Product Ownership: Lead cross-functional development teams as Product Owner, collaborating with engineering to set project scopes, prioritize features, and establish acceptance criteria within an Agile framework. Customer Engagement: Conduct site visits to ensure products meet customer expectations, gather development requests, and support product demonstrations to aid sales efforts. Support & Training: Assist in training, proposal development, and sales support. Ensure comprehensive product knowledge and tools are available to support closing business. Issue Resolution: Investigate customer-reported issues, escalating as needed for resolution, and maintain an updated proposal library. Documentation & Content: Collaborate on marketing content, ensuring alignment with product vision, and review product content regularly. Experience: 4 years in Engineering or Product Management. ANY PUBLIC TRANSIT KNOWLEDGE is required. Transit can be rail, subway, bus, or airline. Anything with fleets and routes. Experience launching and maintaining technical products required. Experience leading design efforts at code level required. Able to translate technical specs to developers required. Tech orientation that focuses on solutioning and problem solving at code level. Hands on solution work required. Strong comm skills, bilingual in English and Portuguese. Strong understanding of American culture. Possibly worked for an American company or supported an American clients. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree is a plus. Resume in English format required. Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Technical familiarity with networking, application-related J1939 and J1708 protocols, SQL, and analytics is required. Knowledge of SaaS, multi-tenancy, and NoSQL technologies is advantageous. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management abilities. Ability to innovate, work independently, and respond quickly to customer needs. Ability to travel at short notice, approximately 30% of the time.
