Understanding these different requirements can be difficult and remaining compliant poses unique challenges for each of our customers and partners.We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our team to support e-invoicing product development for our global E-Invoicing and Live Reporting solution, with a focus on Brazil and the LATAM region.Support e-invoicing product development for our global E-Invoicing and Live Reporting solution, with a focus on Brazil and the LATAM region;Proactively work with internal and external customers to acquire a deep understanding of their requirements & business needs (e.g. other PMs, operations, business development, sales, marketing, partners, professional services & customer success teams);Product ideation, including defining and prioritizing clear enhancements to features, functionalities and country coverage;Carry out initial gap analysis of requirements against existing product functionality;Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the products;Raise requests for specific research and monitoring with our Content Research team;Review, analyze and triage updates identified by Content Research team;Deliver requirements in partnership with Design/UX, as appropriate, for example to enhance the Monitor and Insights to meet the needs of a new mandate or user requirements;Ensure committed product delivery timelines are achieved across the organization including but not limited to engineering;Engage and develop relationships of trust and expertise with trade associations, and industry groups to drive and create consensus on relevant e-invoicing topics with the goal of meeting our customer's needs and Avalara's business interests.What You'll Need To Be SuccessfulA minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years focused on e-invoicing systems or related tax reporting areas (desirable);Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields;Fluent communication skills in English (written and spoken), especially in international environments; Advanced Spanish (will be considered an advantage);Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to manage product development in an iterative manner;Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and product improvements;Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales;Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.How We'll Take Care Of YouTotal RewardsIn addition to a great compensation package, paid time off, and paid parental leave, many Avalara employees are eligible for bonuses.Health & WellnessBenefits vary by location but generally include private medical, life, and disability insurance.Inclusive culture and diversityAvalara strongly supports diversity, equity, and inclusion, and is committed to integrating them into our business practices and our organizational culture.
