Position Overview:
The company is seeking an experienced and dynamic SAP Commerce Cloud Product Owner to join their team in Ireland. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction, development, and implementation of the SAP Commerce Cloud platform, ensuring it meets the needs of the global customer base and supports business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy:
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SAP Commerce Cloud platform in alignment with company goals and customer needs.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, sales, and customer service, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of the product.
Backlog Management:
Create, prioritize, and maintain a well-defined product backlog, ensuring that the development team understands the requirements and priorities.
Agile Development:
Act as the Product Owner within Agile Scrum teams, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
Customer Focus:
Engage with customers and end-users to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities, ensuring the product remains competitive and relevant.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor product performance, analyse key metrics, and implement improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Documentation & Training:
Oversee the creation of comprehensive product documentation and training materials for internal teams and end-users.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with at least 3 years specifically managing SAP Commerce Cloud.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud architecture and functionalities. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Communication:
Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluent English is a prerequisite.
Leadership:
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Global Perspective:
Experience working in a global organisation, with an understanding of regional market differences and requirements.
