**Job Description**:
Real Time Payments is a very important strategic initiative at Visa, which involves a method of exchanging money and processing payments, allowing for almost immediate transfer of money between bank accounts. Our Real Time Payments teams, including PIX initiatives, are at the vanguard of transforming Visa's business model to capture new revenue opportunities and payment flows.
The Director of PIX Products at Visa will be a leader across strategy, planning and execution - with a deep passion for PIX and the benefits it can bring across the ecosystem of participants. Given that we are a relatively new product area and have a 'start-up' mentality, you will contribute to a wide breadth of areas which include product strategy, product road map & prioritization and developing new partner and client relationships. The PIX Products Director will work closely with Brazil Central Bank and the entire ecosystem to evolve regulation in the best interest of the costumer by developing the market.
**Responsibilities**
As the Director of PIX Products for Brazil, you will drive all aspects of Visa's entry into the domain from strategy through to execution - acting as the focal point bringing together related functions such as Sales, Strategy, Government Relations, Marketing, Technology and Data & Analytics. You will develop relationships with new partners and bring joint propositions to new and existing Visa clients.
Specific areas of accountability will include:
- Product Strategy & Planning:
- Provide input and leadership on regulatory and industry developments, close monitoring and anticipating market trends, emerging technologies, and industry players
- Provide expertise, insights and analysis to validate, enhance or re-direct aspects of the current PIX strategy for Visa and the payment industry.
- Translate the Visa's PIX strategy into a roadmap for the enablement of Visa's PIX capabilities within the local regulatory and industry context.
- Develop a partnership strategy required to meet Visa PIX product and market goals.
- Develop local business requirements in close collaboration with regional and global teams and other key functional areas including risk, strategy and government relations.
- Execution & Go to Market:
- Initiate, develop and manage a select number of key partnerships with clients, fintechs, start-ups and consultancies
- Work with local, regional and global Visa teams, as well as external partners, to bring Visa's relevant product and data assets into the Brazilian PIX ecosystem
- Drive joint product development efforts with partners by collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders this involves being able to grasp functional and technical aspects of different solutions and combine them with partners' solutions and capabilities to create market-first offerings
- Own and develop clear and concise product collaterals in order to document the products to inform and educate internal stakeholders, clients and partners
- Provide guidance and expertise for product and client facing teams and lead discussions with prospective clients on all PIX related aspects with specific focus on Visa's solutions.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
