We're looking for a full-time, staff Project Controls Manager to join our Day & Zimmermann team on site located in Columbia, AL. As the Project Controls Manager, here's the work you'll do: Coordinate daily site headcount and levelize loadboards, specifically during outage timeframe. Manage D&Z procurement with respect to rentals, consumables, and subcontractors. Provide support and guidance for site Project Controls personnel & assist with troubleshooting field project controls issues. Interface with clients and Business Unit VP's to ensure the required deliverables are being met, including monthly/period reports and project reviews. Participate in Project Support Team activities & Periodic audits of processes to ensure Contractual and Day & Zimmermann Procedural compliance. This activity will include travel. Coordinate all interface report out meetings between our client and field sites. Coordinate start up of new field sites and demobilization of same when complete. This activity will include Field Assignments. Coordinate placement of field personnel. This role is for you if you have these skills: Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and exceptional management and organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills and must possess the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently. Knowledge of general project controls functions and the ability to plan, organize, budget, and monitor progress. Good computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. SAP R/3, Win Estimator, and Primavera P6 knowledge is a plus. And if you have these qualifications: College degree or minimum five years related experience in a construction environment. Ten plus years experience in related project controls assignments. Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus. Great attitude and team player. Successful completion of background screening process. In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $119,000- $229,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
