The candidate for this position will be based in Macaé but will be required to spend up to 8 weeks in Rio de Janeiro for onboarding and training.Position Overview: Beerenberg is seeking a Project/Logistical Coordinator – Level 3 to oversee the logistical coordination of tools and materials for effective project execution. This role involves close collaboration with project managers to identify and address logistical requirements, manage inventory, and ensure seamless operations across our Macaé warehouse and Rio de Janeiro consumables warehouse.Fluency in both English and Portuguese is essential for effective communication and coordination with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Logistical Coordination: ·Oversee the logistical coordination of tools, consumables, and materials for various projects.·Collaborate with project managers to assess needs and coordinate with the procurement department for timely acquisition of resources.·Manage the receipt and control of goods, ensuring accuracy and quality. Inventory Management: ·Maintain inventory control and conduct regular inventory reporting.·Oversee the warehouse and workshop in Macaé, ensuring efficient organization and operation.·Manage a small consumables warehouse in Rio de Janeiro. Support for Project Managers: ·Assist project managers with logistical preparations and tasks for successful project execution.·Facilitate communication and follow-up with suppliers and customers as needed. Coordination with Procurement Department: ·Work in conjunction with the procurement team to ensure that materials and supplies meet project requirements.·Handle logistical coordination with suppliers and customers for material deliveries and project needs. Requirements: ·Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.·Basic computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office 365.·Fluent in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken).
