In this role, you will collaborate with the Lead Programmer to migrate the company's cloud infrastructure. Once the migration is completed, you will focus on maintenance and optimization of existing software, improving scalability and enhancing responsiveness, while enhancing legacy code to be leaner and more efficient. Our client is looking for a highly skilled developer with at least eight (8) years of LAMP stack software development, four (4) years of JavaScript front-end development, and experience in cloud computing environments with familiarity in migration or moving files between cloud servers. Responsibilities Lead infrastructure migration to an alternative scalable cloud solution Optimize MySQL queries and oversee cloud infrastructure for media hosting Modernize systems for mobile responsiveness using Laravel and PHP Collaborate with the Lead Programmer to develop and maintain the SaaS platform Build and guide a remote programming team Continuously optimize systems for performance and efficiency Qualifications 8+ years of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack development experience required 4+ years of JavaScript front-end development experience required 3+ years of cloud infrastructure and server administration experience required 3+ years of Laravel framework experience required 3+ years of scalable infrastructure in high-load conditions experience required Familiarity with hosting images and streaming videos required Strong English communication skills required
