Senior API Automation Engineer with Venafi automation Experience Role Overview: As a Senior API Automation Resource, you will play a critical role in automating and managing machine identities within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, security professionals, and system administrators. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage the Venafi automation tool to streamline the machine identity lifecycle. Responsibilities: Collaborate with development teams to integrate machine identity management into CI/CD pipelines. Automate the process of creating, renewing, enrolling, and provisioning certificates using the Venafi Control Plane for Machine Identities1. Implement REST API calls to interact with the Venafi platform and other systems2. Ensure the scalability and reliability of machine identity requests, making them available in milliseconds. Define and enforce security policies related to machine identities using automation and workflows. Provide observability into machine identity usage across the network. Work closely with security teams to discover and manage machine identities. Optimize TLS machine identity management for Kubernetes clusters3. Qualifications: 8 to 10 years of Proven experience in API automation and integration together Venafi Automation tool. Familiarity with the Venafi automation tool and its capabilities. Strong understanding of machine identities, certificates, and keys. Certification in Venafi Trust Protection Platform or related areas.
