We are looking for a Senior Buyer to be responsible for all Logistics Services in Brazil and Argentina, mainly trucking and warehousing but not limited to. Other logistics services like terminals, site logistics, logistics consultancies, transport emergency response, support for air and ocean global mode negotiation for the regional connect, and additionally support for the transportation insurance working hand-in-hand with global treasury.
**If you join our team, key activities may include**:
- Review pipeline initiatives, prioritize and plan based on logistics strategies and businesses requirements/needs.
- Conduct spend analysis and market analysis for each category identifying and developing suppliers to meet businesses and DuPont Distribution Safety requirements.
- Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies in order to maximize DuPont competitive position in the market place.
- Execute strategy using RFx and sourcing tools such as GEP Smart.
- Implement negotiation and develop contracts to control process and extract the best benefit to our businesses and operations, so that we can have best service level, avoiding any supply disruptions.
- Manage supplier relationship using continuous improvement and SRM techniques.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong knowledge in logistics and procurement strategies
- Relevant experience in Logistics/Sourcing/Supply Chain and/or related areas
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Administration
- Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
- Motivated self-started with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple project tasks and quickly initiate changes in plan when appropriate
- Strong influence & communication skills
- Strong organizational and networking skills
- Certified 6 Sigma would be a plus
- Office 365 and any electronic procurement tools such as Ariba, Koupa or GEP would be a plus
- Professional oriented on driving for results with good communication skills and ability of managing complex data analysis
