Fully integrated into the Global Category Management Teams, your main responsibilities are:Marketing & Communication (M&C) CategoriesLoyalty (partnerships, sponsoring, donations…)Other marketing & expertisesEase, own, formulate and deliver the category strategy, understanding of drivers, market forces, SWOTDevelop and define sourcing strategyDevelop category communities for all regions & departmentsAlign category strategy with key internal & external stakeholdersSupport category knowledge to grow procurement offers and drive category expertiseThe category strategy deployment should allow significant benefits: from innovation for business, reduced risk exposure, to cost reductionShare category expertise with your regional procurement counterpartSupplier management & market knowledgeManage the fundamentals of sourcing and supplier engagement activities including return of experience, spend pattern analysis, contract analysis, bid evaluation, negotiations, and supplier consolidationManage International contractsSecure sustainable partnership with strategic suppliersAccountable for category suppliers' management (Governance & Business Review)Ensure the best conditions in the marketDevelop global sourcing strategies to deliver against business objectives for internal clients, and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliersPrepare and hold business reviews with stakeholders to review vendor performance, future opportunities, and/or challengesEvaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models and benchmarking analysisSpend & BudgetControl category spend to capture Rate of specific categoriesResponsible for the budget achievement and for cost optimization (cost out & savings)Manage remuneration processes for dedicated suppliersWork with business and finance leaders to identify and drive savings and controllership improvements, focusing on total cost of ownershipSupport Category VisibilitySupport and actively promote the Group Procurement PolicyProvide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement processes and maintain procurement ethics in accordance with Accor's global policiesIdentify sourcing opportunities by leveraging spend analysis tools and engage with stakeholders to consolidate requirements over categories, suppliersAssess risk and concisely explain complex issues to principal business ownersCommunicate, co-operate and involve relevant stakeholders to drive the overall strategyEngage and secure an open and direct dialogue with stakeholdersAble to sell solutions internally, but also to external customersSupport the savings targets with managing projects from A to ZStakeholder Relationship ManagementCoordination of transversal projectsParticipation in sustainability initiatives to support the group sustainable targetsSupport marketing initiatives to accelerate communication strategy of the corporate procurement department such as internal newsletter, webinars, etc.Identify and implement solutions to increase the Preferred Supplier List adoptionTrack KPIs implementation to monitor category performance & adoptionReport & follow remuneration processes (declaration, budget, forecasts, payments, etc.)Initiate actions to reinforce category expertiseQualificationsAs Senior Category Manager you should:Demonstrate agility & resilience to changesLead at an international level the M&C and P&S portfolio (suppliers, customers)Maintain and improve global performance (contract, data, savings)Develop relationships with all brands and customers to increase complianceDevelop leadership with internal/external customers to satisfy their expectations by increasing business opportunities worldwideManage market uncertaintyAbility to listen & understand customer's needs (stakeholders & hotels) in order to drive GT portfolioWork in an international environmentStrong communication and negotiation skillsInfluencing skills & flexibility in approach between different stakeholdersPersonal integrity and strong work ethicsIn addition, the candidate should have the below requested formation & experience:Relevant Experience: at least 5-8 years of total working experience in an international contextA work experience in P&S and M&C Categories is requiredProven working experience as a category manager & buyerRelevant work experience in negotiation & contract managementHospitality experience is a plusRequired language skills: Fluent English (Daily working language), French will be a plus and any othersA capability for networkingLeadership capabilitiesEfficiently organized & autonomousExcellent written and oral communication skillsExtremely customer-focused and takes the time to understand the needs of the businessStrong analytical skills including the ability to quickly synthesize, distill and draw conclusions on large amounts of disparate dataAbility to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
