Primary Purpose of the Position:As a member of the Supply Chain Planning & Execution Team, the Senior Business Analyst provides analytics to support Ball Beverage Packaging North & Central America's master supply planning and inventory planning processes and activities.
Essential Responsible Areas: Mine, collect & interpret various data sets related to Production, Sales & Inventory for use by Regional Fulfilment and Operations teamsIdentify opportunities for process automation, leading the development of solutions to support these opportunitiesUpdate and maintain weekly planning and reporting toolsParticipate in weekly master supply planning process meetings across the regional teams in North & Central America. Including but not limited to summarizing meeting notes, consolidated executive reporting and ensuring closure of action itemsWork cross-functionally with commercial, finance, logistics, operations, and strategic teams to drive process standardization and metric developmentSupports management using analytics to drive improvement in operational resultsMaintains and consolidates existing KPI's and supply chain metricsCreate and maintain process documentation for master supply planning and Inventory planning processes and toolsCreate documentation for existing tools and standard work for the fulfillment planning tool set, including and not limited to: Excel based tools and Oracle Value Chain Planning suiteWork across the Master Supply Planning team to maintain network sourcing rules based on a variety of supply chain optimization strategiesProvide supply chain analytics as requested to support continuous improvement in the supply chain planning & execution processesAssist in setting up a central repository of information for the Supply Chain Planning & Execution team.Completed Bachelor's DegreeAPICS / ASCM certification preferred but not required.Knowledge of the following areas: JD Edwards, Oracle Value Chain Planning, APICS Production and Inventory planning methodologies, Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of other tools such as Qlik, Power BI, Snowflake, Power Automate and Python is beneficial.Ball Corporation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
