What the day will look like As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data systems capable of processing large datasets.
Your focus will include:
Build and maintain ETL processes to integrate and transform data from diverse sources and formats.Design scalable data workflows and task scheduling using tools like Apache Airflow and Python.Develop solutions using Streamsets, Talend, DataBricks, AWS, Snowflake, and Power BI.Manage and control data replication processes in cloud environments such as Amazon S3.Analyze database structures (views and stored procedures) to optimize data ingestion processes and ensure data integrity in data lakes.Lead and manage data engineering projects, ensuring optimal access and organization of data for teams across Latin America.Collaborate with business areas, DE colleagues, platform administrators, and other teams globally using English, Spanish, and Portuguese.How this opportunity is different You will have the opportunity to innovate by developing solutions that deliver complete, accurate, and reliable data to various business areas.
This role involves programming in Python on Databricks, creating ETL processes, and migrating processes to new technologies and robust data architecture.
Also, you'll collaborate with multi-cultural specialists in diverse technological fields and geographies working closely with cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Skills and experience that will lead to success Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.English and/or Spanish AdvancedExperience in programming in Python or JavaDatabases and SQLETL Knowledge: Tools like Streamsets, IBM DataStage, Talend, and Apache NiFiCloud Technologies: Experience in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar platforms.Unified Analytics Platforms: Knowledge of platforms like AWS Glue or DataProc is required.Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, PySpark, NumPy, among others is a plus.CyberArk or Secrets Manager is also desirable.Experience with Databricks, specifically in Unity Catalog or Job Management, creating workflows in Databricks, Delta Lake desirable.Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI or similar tools is valued.Ability to work independently after a period of training and experience at AON.How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
