Your Role: As a Senior Java Developer, you will take a lead role in developing and maintaining our Java-based platform.
Collaborating closely with a diverse team of product managers, designers, and architects, you'll be key to creating scalable, secure, and high-performance software.
This is a hands-on role and requires a keen focus on enhancing product quality and delivering robust solutions.
Working schedule: Hybrid in São Paulo (2 days in the office, 3 days remote) Salary: USD50k to USD60k gross/year - On B2B/PJ (persona juridica).
Key Responsibilities: Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy resilient Java applications.
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for code clarity and future development.
Partner with architects, developers, and QA professionals to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Identify areas for performance tuning, scalability improvements, and code optimization.
Conduct and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and practices.
Required Experience: 7+ years of experience with JAVA Software development.
7+ years of experience with Microservices.
Hands-on experience in building distributed systems.
Expertise in one of the following: Kafka, RabbitMQ, AMQP, ZeroMQ, JMS, and Hazelcast.
Experience with Spring framework, JDBC, and NoSQL databases.
Experience in multi-threaded application development, as well as OOP and MVC design patterns.
Familiarity with database modeling and programming languages such as PL/SQL and pgSQL.
Experience with cross-platform development tools and libraries.
Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
Background in backend development, with a focus on REST API integration.
