Senior/Principal Machine Learning Engineer (Adtech)

PROJECT

Our client helps the television industry monetize their premium content through a robust technology platform, enabling consumers to view high-quality videos on any device. The tech platform can handle billions of daily requests, process terabytes of raw daily data, and optimize clients' business. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will join the Ad Intelligence and Forecasting team. This role involves looking at the history of requests and forecasting using Machine Learning algorithms.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Design new software and web applications, support applications under development, and customize current applications
Assist with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases
Provide technical leadership throughout the design process and recommend practices, procedures, and techniques
Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements
Produce technical specifications and determine operational feasibility
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Integrate software components into a fully functional system
Partner with global teams to incorporate innovations
Guide and mentor junior software engineers
Provide support for the product during on-call rotations to resolve technical issues
REQUIREMENTS

5-8 years of hands-on work in Machine Learning and Big Data
Extensive experience in machine learning algorithms implementation with Python or Scala
Experience with data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, etc.
Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Platform
Experience with large system software design and development
Experience with distributed systems and mission-critical systems preferred
Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving and technical innovation
Strong passion for learning/practicing new technology
Knowledge about SDLC, Agile, and Software Engineering Methodology
Strong ability and persistence in technical support
Strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and proactiveness
At least Upper-Intermediate level of English
