We are looking for a talented Senior Research Lead to help our clients better compete in their market by focusing them in on the areas that will resonate the most with their customers, through delivery of primary research projects and publishing of thought leadership.
You will scope, manage and deliver innovative primary research projects for retailers and manufacturers.
You will also manage and analyze data from the customer strategy & insights team's database, as well as available data and insights from secondary sources, in order to provide thought leadership and deepen understanding of the grocery market for dunnhumby internally and to our clients and prospects.
You will join the Americas Insights and Strategy team, an entrepreneurial group that is constantly exploring new ways to deliver value to dunnhumby and its clients.
The team supports clients and dunnhumby in North America and Latin America.
You will be responsible for delivering primary research for clients in both North America and Latin America.
However, for thought leadership publications, each team member does focus on becoming a market expert on a specific market.
For this market, you will be a go-to within the organization for questions on consumer and competitive context, leveraging our proprietary thought leadership databases.
This specific role will likely focus on becoming a market expert on the Brazilian grocery market.
What we expect from you 7+ years of experience in end-to-end quantitative primary research, with ability to execute all phases of a primary research project, including: proposal writing, survey design, sample design, field management, data management, data analysis, reporting and results presentations Strong client and stakeholder management skills Experience or strong interest in retail industry, particularly in fast moving consumer goods Experience applying advanced statistical techniques (regression analysis, cluster analysis, factor analysis, drivers analysis, MaxDiff, etc.)
to solve a variety of complex problems Expert in primary research data analysis packages, such as: SPSS, Q, Displayr Experience or strong interest in writing thought leadership articles, white papers Experience or strong interest in learning a visualization package that creates self-serve insights for end-users, such as Displayr, Power BI or Tableau Working proficiency in Portuguese desired but not required What you can expect from us We won't just meet your expectations.
