A Day in the Life
As part of our Medtronic mission, we believe that patients around the world deserve access to the best quality of care and improved outcomes to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Our aim is to expand access to Robotic Assisted Surgery and reduce clinical variability through a portfolio of surgical robotic technologies and analytical solutions.
In this role you will be responsible for Latin America market and will be out in the field and travel frequently (+50%) to meet with surgeon teams and Key Opinion Leaders to develop Hospital Robotics Programs to promote a high utilization of our robotic assisted surgery technology, working closely to Medtronic leaders in both the Americas region and in the Global Surgical business. You will also invest and prioritize the team you manage to be and become highly qualified, motivated and supported in the field.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop the infrastructure to prepare and assist with education and training of health care professionals and disseminate knowledge to personnel as required on the technology related to their role
- Develop an inventory plan and kits for robotic procedures, raising awareness for the use of the robot and supporting program governance
- Support field personnel in providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers
- Identify and facilitate execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical, clinical or hospital management, leading teams and leading negotiations with a proven track record of success
- An advanced degree
- Speak English and one or more other languages relative to the geographical location of your job
- Modern computer literacy and solid digital skills
- and robotic assisted surgery with knowledge in Operating Room management or Hospital Robotic Surgery Programs Management.
