Senior Software Engineer (Go, Angular)

Summary of the position We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with cloud native development experience building responsive, high-performance web-based products, and high performance, high-availability and scalable distributed systems.
To be successful in this role you will need great analytical skills to find creative and simple solutions for complex problems, great communication skills in English to work with cross functional teams and a strong desire to build products that delight the customers.
Key responsibilities: • This role is 95% backend, 5% frontend development.
• Partner with leaders, peers, and teams across the organization to deliver cross team initiatives.
• Participate in development and implementation of the vision for the team, spanning architecture, dependencies, engineering process, and technology decisions.
• Be responsible for end-to-end delivery (tech design, development, and testing) and maintenance of our products.
• Make sure our products have highest quality, performance, and availability.
Must Haves: • Bachelor's degree in computer science or 5+ years of equivalent experience is required.
• Experience with Go applications.
• Experience with Angular for frontend.
• Experience working with NodeJS.
• RESTful Services • CI / CD pipeline(s) (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) • AWS services (ALB, ElastiCache, S3) • Docker / Containerization • Using Observability Platforms like New Relic/Datadog or others to monitorsystem health.
• Databases (Slow Queries monitoring, Query optimization, Indexes, Views) • Team player • Responsive, accountable, and ready to take ownership.
Nice to have: • Terraform • Kubernetes (Helm Charts, Basic Networking, Services, Deployments, Configmap, secrets) • AWS Data sharing services (Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, Kinesis) • Spark (Java /Scala /PySpark)
