Project Description: An American Investment Bank is enhancing its Regulatory Reporting processes by migrating from their current system to an in house build solution. ETL, RDBMS design and management are among the challenges. Java & Spring are key technologies. Responsibilities: Define Technical & Functional Scope Develop Solution Architecture and detailed Designs. Create a Roadmap & Migration Strategy Create detailed Technical Specifications including Integration & Data Mappings Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Act as a hands-on Java Tech Lead developing the solution when the Design phase is complete Engage with business stakeholders including Traders, Operations and Strats to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and performance standards. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects. Document changes necessary to support business Mandatory Skills Description: 10 years of experience in software development 2 years in an architectural role. Hands-on experience with Java, including JDK 8 Strong proficiency in software architecture design and principles. Expertise in ETL, SQL, RDBMS design and management Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex systems and recommend appropriate solutions. Experience in leading distributed teams Experience developing High-Load Systems Working with Distributed Applications Using Message Brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar) Familiarity with Cache/In-Memory Data Grids (Redis, Hazelcast, or similar) Enterprise services (including monitoring, state management) Expert practitioner of object-oriented techniques Solid expertise in concurrency and multithreading Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator) Experience with automated testing (TDD, BDD) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Nice-to-Have Skills Description: Experience in Regulatory Reporting
