Job Title: GCP Solutions Architect Location: Brazil / Remote Rate: $40 USD/hr Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced GCP Solutions Architect to join our team.
This is a hands-on role focused on proof-of-concept (POC) builds, designing and architecting solutions, with a strong emphasis on front-end development using Angular.
The ideal candidate will have full-stack experience with GCP cloud and a background in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance software applications.
Candidate need to be hands-on contributing to the code as an architect.
It does lean more on architecting, but they can't be afraid to get into the code when needed.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design of scalable, reliable, and high-performance software applications.
Create architectural blueprints, system diagrams, and documentation to communicate the design to the development team.
Write high-quality application code with new technologies and frameworks aimed primarily at cloud-based ecosystems.
Collaborate with other software development functions to iteratively design, develop, validate, and deploy software using agile techniques.
Architect and design robust, scalable, and high-performing modern web applications based on business requirements and technical constraints.
Empower the team to deliver high-quality application code using new technologies and frameworks typically targeted at cloud-based ecosystems.
Develop and maintain architectural standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for modern web applications.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices and code quality.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks in existing applications, proposing and implementing appropriate solutions.
Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications: Bilingual Portuguese / English 7+ years of experience working as an Architect or Lead Developer building UI application architectures.
Extensive knowledge and expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, SCSS, web components, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks like React, Next.js, Express.js, Angular, etc.
Solid understanding of architectural patterns, best practices, and design principles for building scalable and maintainable web applications.
Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.
Experience with version control systems (GitHub) and modern development workflows.
Familiarity with media streaming protocols such as MPEG-DASH and HLS.
Experience with cloud-based technologies, particularly GCP or AWS.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile development environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project deadlines.
Experience designing applications and solutions for resilience and recoverability.
Experience mentoring UI development teams on standards, guidelines, and best practices.
