Position Objective:
Manage the molding, packaging and decoration production area, ensuring correct execution according to existing procedures. Furthermore, it must seek to engage people and continually improve processes to achieve sectoral goals linked to people, service, quality, safety and costs. Manage performance and ensure the technical development of external manufacturing areas.
Specific Responsibilities
Monitor the efficiency performance of the molding, packaging, decoration and maintenance areas of the factory, through indicators, process and team monitoring, equipment operation, on-site observations, among others, ensuring results within its goals in relation to production cycles. machine, scrap and machine stops.
Ensure the correct execution of production processes, allocated resources and improvement projects within their areas of activity.
Ensure that legal and corporate policies are executed with discipline.
Ensure a good work environment, promoting engagement through our values.
Ensure the disciplined implementation of Lean tools and culture and its areas of activity, as well as ensuring freedom from unsafe conditions and behaviors, ensuring an environment with zero accidents.
Ensure efficiency objectives: Scrap; downtime; cycle; labor; reduction of material bloks & dirts; reduce reprocessed material in accordance with the Profit Plan and without sacrificing quality
Ensure that mold changes are carried out efficiently, with a sense of urgency and ensuring good product quality.
Design training programs together with the Human Resources Department in order to develop the knowledge and skills of Production employees, taking into account the assessment of training needs and Tupperware's strategy.
Education & Experience:
• Higher education in Polymer Engineering, Industrial Chemical Engineering and related areas;
• Minimum experience of 5 years, in an industrial environment, performing duties as Production Director in the plastics area (injection and blowing);
• Mastery of the English language, spoken and written;
• Good computer skills from the user's perspective (Excel)
