Logistics Supervisor Job Overview: The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics operations, including supplier and transporter relationships, inventory management, and order processing. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods, maintaining efficient systems, and overseeing logistics operations to meet organizational objectives. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for auditing services, developing key performance indicators (KPIs), and managing a team. Key Responsibilities: Supplier and Logistics Management: Manage contracts with suppliers, transporters, and logistics operators. Ensure smooth execution of logistics operations, including receiving, inspection, checking, storage, order picking, packaging, shipping, and transportation. Operational Auditing & Reporting: Audit and validate third-party service charges to ensure compliance and accuracy. Develop, update, and manage logistics KPIs for suppliers and logistics operators. Analyze results and generate action plans for corrective actions when necessary. Order Management: Oversee the internal order process from receipt to final delivery to customers. Provide support for corrections and improvements in order processing within logistics operations. Schedule and track deliveries, ensuring communication with clients and transporters. Customer & Supplier Support: Act as a liaison between internal and external customers regarding order status in the logistics process. Provide support to transporters to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Inventory & Procurement: Monitor and support the progress of national and international purchase orders from origin to availability for commercialization. Manage inventory routines and ensure stock accuracy, meeting established inventory levels. System Management & Reporting: Generate and analyze reports from the SAP system to track and evaluate logistics performance. Create and manage individual controls in spreadsheets for key operations. Log and manage complaints in the SAP/Fiori system. Continuous Improvement & Procedure Development: Investigate complaints and deviations in collaboration with the Technical Department. Develop and maintain up-to-date logistics procedures. Create and develop reports, controls, and presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Team Management: Manage the logistics team, including training, performance evaluations, and overseeing labor routines and compliance with workplace regulations. Academic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management position. Experience in managing third-party service providers, preferably logistics operators. IT (Computer Skills): Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. Advanced proficiency in Excel (including reports, controls, pivot tables, routine formulas, charts, and KPIs). Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools is a plus. Languages: Intermediate proficiency in Spanish and/or English.
