We are seeking a motivated and analytical Technology Intern to join our dynamic team at a leading Brazilian FX bank. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the FX business, working on various aspects of software development, cyber security, product
support and platform. As an intern, you will not only have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects but also engage in essential operational tasks that are crucial to our daily workflow. This blend of hands-on experience and practical responsibilities will help you develop a well-rounded skill set, giving you valuable insights into the tech industry and operational processes.
Responsibilities:
There are different areas within Ebury with learning opportunities in the technology domain. Based on your profile and aspirations, we can offer a different set of responsibilities:
? Software engineering: Support the engineering team with data collection, analysis, feature development, and testing. This will involve working with internal systems and external tools.
? Product Support: Assist in the ongoing development and enhancement of FX products, including gathering feedback, preparing product documentation, supporting internal operational areas.
? Process Improvement: Participate in projects that streamline and optimize internal processes, improving efficiency across the FX product lifecycle.
? Risk management: Be open to learning new tools, methodologies, and systems related to FX trading, product management, and banking operations.
? Support Ad Hoc Tasks: Flexibility to assist in various administrative and operational tasks as needed, supporting the broader goals of the Engineering Team.
Qualifications:
? Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
? Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical mindset, with an ability to work with data and generate insights.
? Proactive & Eager to Learn: Enthusiastic about learning and taking on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
? Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese (English is a plus).
? Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and adapt to a variety of tasks.
? Problem-Solving: A flexible approach to problem-solving, with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
