Emerson | IT Service Delivery Specialist | SorocabaThis is an IT Support position within the LATAM Enterprise IT Team with responsibilities for supporting the IT and Telecommunications Infrastructure for the specified area/site. This role ensures that the utilization of hardware, software, and communication systems is consistent with the Global IT strategy, providing onsite support while working closely with centrally provided IT services.Your ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Administration:Provide information and assist the IT Service Delivery Supervisor with IT budgeting and cost control.Follow and implement Emerson policies regarding IT management, security, standards, and procedures.Assist users with business proposal generation regarding our standards and policies.IT Infrastructure & Support:Ensure optimum support for end-users at all times within agreed service levels.Maintain and update relevant IT documentation.Support and maintain IT Infrastructure security standards aligned with Emerson security policy.Support and maintain IT Infrastructure backup and recovery, including Disaster Recovery Planning.Manage IT Infrastructure asset management, including hardware lifecycle management and software licensing.Support audit compliance for IT Infrastructure.Provide appropriate service for centrally provided IT Infrastructure, including servers, clients, printers, and other standardized peripherals.Act as a local point for all IT issues (Infrastructure and Application) at your site and engage with the appropriate IT Group.Utilize the helpdesk as the central point for all IT issues and service requests.Communication:Establish good working relationships with users and other sources of support.Build the relationship between IT and the Business to become the trusted partner for delivering value and high levels of service.For This Role, You Will Need:Education: College/University degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience within a general IT environment, with previous experience in supporting clients, servers, and communication equipment (preferably CISCO).Location: Sorocaba, SPPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:Basic understanding of the IT Field, including VMware ESXi / VCenter knowledge.Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 experience.Cisco networking knowledge.Experience with CITRIX; MS Remote Access.Independently complete diverse tasks and improve knowledge and skills in:Language: English.IP networking administration and services, including DNS, DHCP.Security & Compliance tools (e.g., Ivanti/LanDesk, WSUS, Symantec, FireEye).Active Directory, GPO & policy design and support.Performs without assistance and is recognized as a specialist in:Language: Spanish and English.Microsoft Windows Operating Systems 7 - 10.
