We treasure every talent and recognize merit and diversity in our organization.Job DescriptionRole: Manager Business Development & Mergers and AcquisitionsObjective: A high-impact role which encompasses a multifaceted approach to driving strategic growth and enabling business development in key markets in the Emerging Markets division. The individual will be pivotal in enabling M&A activities, developing strategies for portfolio analysis with an objective to maximising revenue opportunities across the regions.The role entails working with the M&A strategy and execution teams to evaluate M&A opportunities in the Emerging Markets. The individual will establish and maintain robust relationships with investment bankers, advisors, and other stakeholders to identify potential M&A opportunities within the Emerging Markets' pharmaceutical industry.Responsibilities –Portfolio analysis and leverage for India and Emerging Markets -Define strategy for overall portfolio analysis, along with key criteria for maximizing revenue.Work with Commercial team and Portfolio team to define business case and P&L.Identify, drive and close deals with B2B partners.Create a process to replicate the effort in other markets.Enabling M&A for Emerging Markets –Maintain relations with bankers and other key stakeholders to identify potential M&A opportunities.Facilitate evaluation of potential targets and enable management review.QualificationsExperience and skillsAt least 2-3 years of work experience in top tier consulting firms or in BD/corporate development and M&A/corporate strategy teams.Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated business impact.Business acumen to build strategies and work with senior stakeholders.Good understanding of corporate finance basics.Strong written and oral communication skills.Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.Experience in the Pharma sector is a plus.Educational qualificationsMBA preferably from Tier 1 Institute or Chartered accountants / Graduates from top tier engineering colleges.Additional InformationAbout the DepartmentEmerging Markets is one of our biggest businesses and our branded products are available in 48 countries.
