About the job Powertrain Calibration Sr. AnalystMain Responsibilities:Support GWM Brazil R&D team to create exciting products for the Brazilian market, according to Brazilian style.Perform powertrain calibration together with GWM R&D team, adjusting products to meet Brazilian regulations (emissions, drivability, starting, component protection, OBD, etc.).Support vehicle testing (emissions and fuel consumption) at different test locations.Analyze data, interface with R&D headquarters, providing orientation and guidance when solving problems locally.Support execution of benchmark plans, future emissions/OBD regulation studies.Improve company's research and development capabilities.Required:Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or related field.More than 5 years of experience in engine calibration in the automotive industry (transmission calibration experience is desirable).Experience with light-duty vehicle emissions certification process and tests (tailpipe, evaporative, OBD) according to CONAMA 492/2018 (Proconve L7).Knowledge of future emissions regulations (Proconve L8) is desirable.Previous experience with flex fuel vehicles with ethanol (minimum 3 years).Previous experience with hybrid electric vehicles is desirable.Technical and analytical profile.Good communication skills. Fluent in English is mandatory.Familiarity with Excel, capable of creating calculation sheets, charts, and manipulating data.Familiarity with internal combustion engine, thermodynamics, control theory, sensors, and actuators (signals and working principle).ETAS INCA Calibration software - minimum 2 years of experience.Knowledge of MDA tool.As a member of the R&D team, work actively to support the team to develop programs on the company roadmap, specifically doing calibration work for hybrid flex fuel applications.
