Corbion is seeking a Project Coordinator to coordinate the CAPEX, assuring the execution of projects scope on time and cost with safety and quality, working with internal cross-functional partners and leading the team. This role is based in Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ and reports to the Asset Management Manager.
Key position specific functions:
Coordinate project scope, schedule, finances and resources to meet predetermined Corbion business objectives.
Document projects process and ensure deliverables are delivered on-time. Providing regular reports to management and stakeholders.
Assess and mitigate blockers and potential risks.
Plan and lead medium to large-sized capital projects/programs that include the integration of outside technical resources. Results oriented leader that can work with the team to deliver projects within the approved framework.
Control and monitor the activities inherent to the field execution, solving pending issues, correcting deficiencies, clarifying doubts and complementing information required by the works during their execution and, mainly, ensuring compliance with the concepts of the original project.
Lead multidisciplinary engineering team, as well as the execution team (construction and electromechanical assembly).
Anticipate changing resource requirements and results, and initiate appropriate responses in a way that optimizes overall project results.
Communicate with stakeholders and facilitate regular updates and reporting on project status. Make effective presentations, both written and verbal.
Drive use of the engineering discipline in such a way that it causes significant improvements in our project management processes.
Coordinate project team members both internal to Corbion and external engineering resources.
Have individual and shared responsibility for the safety of all personnel and the safe operation of the departments, equipment, and buildings under their authority.
Review and analyze proposed new processes for safety hazards. Participate in the Management of Change (MOC), HAZOP, and HACCP processes.
Ensure that works are performed in accordance with planned engineering techniques by monitoring and controlling their proper execution in accordance with current technical standards and legislation.
Ensure that works are carried out according to the planned budget through the preparation of monitoring and control worksheets for the measurements of the services performed, as well as the release of payments inherent to these services.
Ensure that the works are executed according to the planned deadline by preparing, updating and analyzing physical progress schedules, as well as re-planning any deviations.
Your profile:
Solid experience in a project management role.
Demonstrated management experience and strong leadership skills.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.
